TSC Auto ID Technology America Inc. will showcase its newest printers at the 2012 show in Sao Paulo, Brazil, June 26-28. AUTOCOM Brazil is one of the leading trade fairs focusing on commercial automation, services and trading solutions. TSC plans to showcase its brand new Alpha-3R portable receipt printer as well as the recently released ME240 series industrial printers and the low cost TTP-244CE desktop printer.
Alpha-3R Portable Receipt Printer
The newly released Alpha-3R portable receipt printer draws on TSC’s 20 years of experience designing durable, economically priced label printers. It features a fast print speed of up to 4 ips, a lightweight, ergonomic design, and is compatible with any application requiring mobile on-demand receipt printing.
The Alpha-3R features the largest battery and paper-roll capacity of its class which allows it to deliver the most productive and efficient service over a full day’s duty cycle. Add the optional IP54-rated environmental case and a standard rugged rubber over-mold case designed to keep the unit working normally even after a 5-foot drop.
ME240 / ME340 Entry Level Industrial Thermal Transfer Printer
Released at the beginning of the year, The ME240/ME340 Series is designed and built to withstand the toughest production environments. The printer’s heavy-duty print mechanism is constructed of die-cast aluminum and housed in an all-metal frame. Because of its low-profile small-footprint design, the ME240/ME340 fits easily into cramped worked spaces that are too small for larger industrial printers. The print mechanism supports large 450-meter thermal-transfer ribbons and an 8.0 inch OD roll of labels.
Priced less than other printers in their class, the ME240/ME340 Series printers are loaded with standard features and come with a selection of options and accessories that significantly expand their capabilities. Standard features include USB and serial connectivity, a 2-button, 3-LED (basic version)/ 6-button LCD (advanced version) control panel, real-time clock, 8MB DRAM memory, 4 MB FLASH memory and an SD card slot that expands FLASH memory up to 4 GB.
TTP-244CE Desktop Thermal Transfer Printer
TSC will introduce the new TTP-244CE reduced cost thermal transfer desktop printer at AUTOCOM. Based on the popular TSC TTP-245C printer, the TTP-244CE features a durable and easy to use small-footprint design that uses the smaller half-inch core ribbons. The advanced confihuration of TTP-244CE will include 4 types of connectivity including Ethernet, Parallel, Serial and USB connections. It has no losable parts.
The TTP-244CX will be available for Latin America sale in July, 2012
More products on display
In addition to its new products, TSCAA plans to showcase the TTP-244 Plus, one of Brazil’s most popular thermal-transfer desktop label printers. Also on display will be the TTP-2410M Series of 4-inch-wide industrial thermal-transfer label printers, along with the rest of TSC's extensive portfolio of thermal-transfer label printers.
