This will clear previously configured values in memory which may be affecting printer function. Be aware that you will have to run calibration and set the darkness after performing this procedure.
Note: If this is being performed on an Xi or XiII printer, the printhead resistance will be defaulted and must be reset in the LCD Display menu item HEAD RESISTOR. To locate the head resistance information click here.

| 1. To default the printer, press the LCD display SETUP/EXIT button twice. SAVE PERMANENT will be displayed. |  |
| 2. Press the black oval arrow button until LOAD DEFAULTS is displayed. |  |
| 3. Press the NEXT/SAVE button to load defaults. |  |
