Difference between Barcode Fonts and Components

If you're looking for a way to generate barcodes for your business or even for personal reasons, the prospect of finding the right product can be challenging. For starters, do you go with Barcode Fonts, Barcode Components or a Stand-Alone Application? While the answer may be simple for the IDAutomation Sales & Support staff, many interested visitors can get lost here.

So, what is the difference between a Barcode Font and a Barcode Component? In short, barcode fonts are standard fonts that need to be encoded before a readable barcode can be created while Barcode Components are graphic encoders, meaning they do the encoding inside the object.
