LOGMARS Barcode Creation & Printing

LOGMARS is a specification used by the United States Government for shipment of military items within the Federal Government. Created from a Code 39 Barcode, LOGMARS is defined by Military Standard MIL-STD-129N which contains information about the location of the barcode and label in addition to what information should actually be encoded into the LOGMARS barcode to fit those military specifications.

There's a lot of information out there pertaining to LOGMARS, but not a great deal that actually explains how to create a LOGMARS barcode.
