IDAutomation Newsletter: May 2007

by Nate Schubert

IDAutomation Announces the Release of their New Native Barcode Generators:

The Native Barcode Generators are objects that are easily inserted into either Crystal Reports or Microsoft Access applications to create barcode images. Once installed, no other components or fonts are needed to create barcodes. This complete barcode generator stays embedded in the report, even when it is distributed or accessed from a server. Supported barcode types include Code 39, Code 128, UCC/EAN-128, MSI, Interleaved 2 of 5, PostNet and PDF417.

More information about the new versions of the IDAutomation Native Barcode Generators, including a demo to download, is provided at:

  1. Crystal Reports Version: http://idautomation.com/crystal/native/
  2. Microsoft Access Version: http://idautomation.com/access/native/

Note: The demo versions of these products may be used for evaluation purposes only.

IDAutomation PDF417 Font and Encoder Update:

Our PDF417 Font and Encoder has been updated to include MacroPDF support, as well as native formulas for Microsoft Office, Access, Excel and Crystal Reports. These native formulas allow PDF417 barcodes to be created without the need for any DLLs or other libraries.

More information about the PDF417 Font and Encoder Package, including a demo to download, is provided at: http://www.idautomation.com/fonts/pdf417/

If the product was purchased and you would like to obtain the update, please update your priority support for the IDAutomation PDF417 Font and Encoder (Part #: IDA24): http://store.idautomation.com/pdf417_font_encoder_sub.asp
